Que yo sepa, en EEUU se han esforzado siempre por mostrar que los políticos y candidatos respetan la independencia de la Reserva Federal. En una muestra más de que, como afirma David Glasner, vivimos una época de prórroga, vean lo que ha dicho el candidato (uno más) Perry, del Tea Party a las presidenciales:
Aprendan escuela, juanmarianistas, porque esto, como todo, se contagia. Nada nada, hay que hundirlo todo, liquidacionando, que luego renacerá más puro.

- “If this guy prints more money between now and the election, I don’t know what y’all will do to him in Iowa, but we would treat him pretty ugly down in Texas,” Perry said to laughter from supporters in Iowa. “Printing more money to play politics at this particular time in American history is almost treacherous, treasonous in my opinion,” he said.
